The Kentucky State Police is reporting that Phillip Lee Lewis is now in custody of the Kentucky State Police. Lewis is charged with robbery and the murder of Gary Medlin at the A&B QuickStop in Gray on January 16, 2019. Lewis was arrested in Flint, Michigan on February 8.
Lewis will be lodged into the Knox County Detention center awaiting his court appearance.
