Mr. Woodrow Warren, 84, of Girdler, passed away Saturday evening, November 26, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Gilbert and Artie Merida Warren born on August 15, 1938 at Green Road.
Woodrow was the former owner and operator of Warren Wrecker Service and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working, gardening and in earlier years, enjoyed fishing with his family and hunting.
On January 5, 1959, he united in marriage with Norma Elam and to this union five children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Warren; a son, Kevin Warren; a sister, Esther Mae Warren and a son-in-law, Joe Garrison.
Survivors include his loving children, Joey Warren and wife, Samantha, Debbie Garrison, Krista Warren and Nelva Warren all of Girdler; a daughter-in-law, Verna Warren of Artemus; a sister, Loretta Smith of Michigan; three brothers, Charles Warren of Tennessee, Dearl Gene Warren of Corbin and Roy Dean Warren of Michigan; grandchildren, Karissa Honeycutt, Shawn Warren, Kody Warren and wife, Diondra, and Justin Warren and wife, Ashlee; great grandchildren, Kason, Cadience, Jansen, Makinlee and Journee Warren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, December 3 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Warren Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Justin Warren, Kody Warren, Roger Mills, Rick Mills, T. J. Hubbard and Mike Rayburn. Honorary bearers will be his friends and neighbors.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
