Mr. William E. Reeder, 60, of Pineville, passed away Wednesday evening, June 16, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Center. He was the son of Jeanie Reeder Lane and the late Carnzzle Lane born on July 30, 1960 in Corbin.
William was a former coal miner and a member of the Piney Chapel Baptist Church. He also enjoyed working on cars and computers.
On July 30, 1982, he united in marriage with Vicky Fuson and to this union two children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sammy Lane.
Survivors include his loving wife, Vicky Reeder of Pineville; his mother, Jeanie Lane of Woollum; two beloved children, Tiffany Caldwell and husband, Kevin, of Barbourville and William C. Reeder and wife, Bethany, of Middlesboro; a sister, Rosa Lane and fiancé, Rowland Partin, of Corbin; a brother, Richard Lane and wife, Doris, of Barbourville; seven treasured grandchildren, Jacob Laws, McKenzie Laws, Jaelynn Reeder, Josie Reeder, Maddox Reeder, Sophie Caldwell and Maylee Reeder; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, June 21 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Herman Mills officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Fuson Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Damon Fuson, Kevin Caldwell, Todd Ralston, Dalton Mason, Jonathan Simpson and Richard Lane. Serving as an honorary bearer will be his son, William C. Reeder.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
