Obituary for Willard Ray “Bill” Harmon (1959-2025)

Willard Ray “Bill” Harmon, age 65 of Flat Lick, KY was Born in Woodbine, KY on September 22, 1959 to the late Rev. Everett Harmon and Rosie Smith Harmon and departed this life on January 23, 2025 in the Baptist Health of Corbin Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, Carpentry, being outside, watching Westerns, hunting and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, brothers and sisters: Marvin, Arvil, Faye, Fredia, Viney; father-in-law: William Hobart Mills; nephew: Jason Harmon; and 3 brothers- in- law: Jim Larimer, Willie Martin, and Albert Thornberry preceded him in death.

Bill is survived by his wife: Pam Harmon of Flat Lick; his children: William Michael Ray Harmon and wife Cherish, Tracy Lynn Frederick and husband James, and Hazel Lee Lewis all of Flat Lick, and Brittany Nichole Suits and husband Korey of AL; 3 brothers: Rick Harmon of Barbourville, Charles Harmon and wife Tedra of London, and Ronnie Harmon of Corbin; 4 sisters: Doris Larimer and Pat Martin both of London, and Brenda Thornberry and Della Jackson and husband Jerry both of Corbin; 18 grandchildren: Makayla Lynn Frederick Thompson (Devin), Austin Lee Frederick (Kamryn), Chloe Bethany Frederick, Kylie Grace Frederick, William Conner Lewis, Braiden Wayne Lewis, Brody Dewayne Lewis, Tanner Lee Tyler Lewis, Miranda Kaye Lewis, Emily Peyton Lewis, Isabella Grace Lewis, Gabriella Rose Lewis, Addison Marie Harmon, Sophia Grace Harmon, Brantly Michael Harmon, Olivia Jane Suits, Shania Suits, and Luca Suits; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Mr. Willard “Bill” Harmon will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mike Collins and Rev. Rick Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in the H&H Mills Cemetery with Austin Frederick, James Frederick, Braiden Lewis, William Conner Lewis, and Devin Thompson serving as Pallbearers.  Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
