Wanda Kay Ligons Lowery, age 67 of Hazard, KY formerly of Knox co, was born in Fulton Co, Ga. On 11/25/1953 to the late Frank and Thelma Duncan Ligons and departed this life on 09/01/2021 in the Hazard ARH hospital. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, 2-Brothers: Doug Ligons & Jackie Ligons 1-Sister: Barbra Ligons & 1 great grandson: Brayden Hudson preceded her in death.
Wanda is survived by her loving children Brad Hudson & wife Alice of Roark, KY: Kristi Tucker of Casy, County -Melissa Hudson and fiancé Kyle Roark of Dewitt, KY: Terina Ligons and fiancé Taylor Bowling of Roark, KY. 1 Brother: Freddy Ligons of Martin Tenn. 2 sisters: Sarah Wilson of Wingo, KY and Kathy Ligons of Indiana. 8 Grandchildren, 1 Great grandchild and 2 special pets: Tinker Bell & Lug nuts, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing
Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Lowery will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. David Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in the Roark family cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
