Mr. Walter C. Helton, age 64, departed this life on Friday, November 29, 2019 in West Liberty, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Lester and Cleda Edith Helton, born to them on December 13, 1954 in Knox County, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Cleda Edith Helton, and his son, Jason Helton.
Left behind to mourn his passing are his wife, Darryel Jean (Sifers) Helton, son Chris Helton of Ohio, daughter Rochelle Helton and sisters Patricia Pike, Carol Allen and husband Virgil and Wanda Smith and husband Ken, Mary Hammons, Charles Helton, Carl Helton, his ‘brothers’ who worked in the coal mines, Franklin King, Marty Frost, Michael Frost, Herman Bunch, Tom Bunch, Dale Golden and Ronnie Mills, and special friend O.V. Mills.

Funeral services for Mr. Walter Helton will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 12 noon – 3:00 p.m.
