Ms. Vivian Peace, 90, of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 28, 2023 at the Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Arthur James and Grace Lewallen Peace born on July 18, 1932 at Swan Pond.
Vivian was a former Kentucky Department of Human Resources employee, a long-time Walmart associate and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and gazing out the window at the mountains on her beloved farm. She dearly loved her family and time spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Byron Peace and Christopher Peace; sisters, Dana Mae Peace, Helen Marie Peace Hipsher, Doris Peace, Oma Peace Citty and Lenora Peace; brothers, Kermitt and James Peace and a grandson, Christopher James Peace.
Survivors include her a sister, Mary Dee Peace Maners of Elk Grove, CA; a brother, Arthur James Peace Jr. of Georgia; a daughter-in-law, Diane Lynn Peace of Weatherford, TX; treasured grandchildren, Toby, Amber, Jonathan and wife, Jennifer and Brandon Peace, Mark Goodman and Linzi Henrriquez; several dearly loved great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, March 6 at 1 P.M. with Jennifer Peace officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Faulkner Chapel Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Jon Hutchinson, Toby Peace, Noah Wood, Travis Peace, Jonathan Peace and Zeck Lewis.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
