Virginia Mills, age 62 of Flat Lick, was born in Knox County, KY on August 7, 1959 to the late Homer and Ethel Mills and departed this life on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Salt Gum Baptist Church and enjoyed holding Yard Sales, cooking and baking, gardening, and time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, a grandson: Randy Mills; 2 brothers: Jerry Mills, and Paul Mills; and 4 sisters: Jean Mills, Victoria Deaton, Ruthie Mills, and Wanda Sue Mills preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband: Glen Mills of Flat Lick; 3 sons: Glen Dale Mills and fiancé Scarlet Osborne of London, Boyd Dewayne Mills of Flat Lick, and Michael Paul Mills and wife Mary Ann of Heidrick; 2 sisters: Genoria Stewart and Betty Baker and husband Gerald all of Barbourville; 10 grandchildren other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Virginia Mills will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Herman Mills and Rev. Gilbert Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Lidge Mills Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Wednesday from 6 to 9 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2 for a limited visitation. Due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, the family has requested all visitors wear masks and practice social distancing.
