Virgil T. Farmer, age 79 of Barbourville, was born in Barbourville, KY on September 13, 1942 to the late Vernon and Ida Marie Smith Farmer and departed this life on January 29, 2022 in the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed working, riding horses, watching TV, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents: Vernon and Ida Farmer; his wife: Helen Elaine Farmer preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving son: Richard Wayne Farmer and wife Tina of Green Castle, IN; a sister: Earlene Mills and husband Alford; 3 grandchildren: Megan, Jonathon, and Jessica; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Virgil Farmer will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jimmy Siler bringing the Message and Rev. Greg Warren having the Obituary, Comments, and Prayer. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with Steven Mills, Christian Mills, David Dunn, Vernon Farmer, Scott Tyree, and Greg Warren serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
