Mr. Virgil “Burt” Riley, age 67 of Barbourville, was born in Knox County, KY on February 5, 1952 to the late Walter and Odie Mills Riley and departed this life on November 15, 2019 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, Gensenging, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents: Walter and Odie Riley; and a sister: Lizzie Riley preceded him in death.
Burt is survived by his loving siblings: Bonnie Hatfield of Campbellsville, KY, Dexter Riley of Girdler, and Arnold Riley of Cannon; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Virgil “Burt” Riley will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Tip Smith and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Riley Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Monday Evening from 3 to 9 P.M. and Tuesday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
