Violet Hubbard Baker, age 86 of Flat Lick was born in Knox County, KY on August 28, 1935 to the late Joe and Ethel Parrot Hubbard and departed this life on July 3, 2022 in the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Greenbriar Holiness Church and enjoyed going to Church, gardening, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, a daughter: Francis Lynn Golden; 7 brothers; and 1 sister preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 53 years: David “D” Baker of Flat Lick; her children: Parker Gray, and Lovella Frederick and husband William Kenneth Frederick all of Flat Lick; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Violet Baker will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Jully 8, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Kennon Roark having Obituary and Prayer and Rev. Eric Jordan bringing the Message. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery with Grandson’s serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday from 6 to 9 P.M., Thursday from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
