Obituary for Vina Reynolds (1950-2022)

Mrs. Vina Reynolds age 72 of Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home. She was the widow of Stanley Reynolds and daughter of Wilton and Ellen Smith born to them on August 8, 1950 in Woolum, Kentucky. She was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church. She loved to sew and had worked as a seamstress at Warner’s and later at SEKRI. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and being outside and going to flea markets and yard sales.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Ellen Smith and her husband Stanley Reynolds and two brother, Arvin an Elmer Smith.

Left behind to mourn her passing, two children, daughter Gail Reynolds and son Gary Travis Reynolds both of Williamsburg, three grandchildren, Megan Reynolds, Marshall neal and Donald Neal, six siblings, Shirle Mae Ponder of Kettle Island, Kathleen Smith and husband Luster of Jarvis, Nellie Wheat and husband Larry of Barbourville, Anna Brewer also of Barbourville, Wanda Carter of Whitley County and Wilton Smith, Jr. of Woolum. She also leave behind a host of many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Reynolds will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the Cottongim Cemetery at Big Bull Creek in Woolum. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
