Mrs. Vicki Inez Bowen, 80, of Corbin, passed away Friday evening, January 15, 2021 at St. Joseph London. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Tressie Voyles Jones born on August 20, 1940 in Jacksonville, FL.
Vicki was a homemaker and a member of the Corbin Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was the former choir director and enjoyed singing.
On November 1, 1976, she united in marriage with Gary Richard Bowen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Behr; a sister, Tressie Aldridge and a brother, Jack Jones.
Survivors include her loving husband, Gary Richard Bowen of Corbin; two sons, Gary Russell Bowen of Corbin and Kevin Behr and wife, Jackie, of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Deborah McClellan of Valdosta, GA; brothers, Arthur Jones and James Jones and wife, Carolyn, all of Jacksonville, FL; precious grandchildren, Jason Behr and wife, Haley, Lauren Behr and Brandon Behr; a great grandson, Michael Behr; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the McFarland Cemetery Friday, January 22 at 3 P.M. with Bishop Mike McLaughlin officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the cemetery Friday prior to the service time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
