Veleos Brock, age 73 of Barbourville was born in Beverly, KY on March 18, 1948 to the late Mike and Polly Whitehead Brock and departed this life on February 13, 2022 in the Rockcastle Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting knives and watches, and time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving children: Rodney Brock and wife Becky of Corbin, Conner Brock and Jaydon Brock all of Leslie County, and Hannah Brock and fiancé James Sparks of Barbourville; 5 brothers: A T Brock and wife Brenda and Mitchell Brock all of Harlan, James Brock and fiancé Phanessa and Mike Brock all of Leslie County, Doyle Brock and wife Stella of Corbin; 4 sisters: Molly Simpson and Haley Collett both of Leslei County, Adelee Brock of Harlan, and Lillie Smith and husband Jimmy of London; 5 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Veleos Brock will be conducted in the New Hope Christian Church on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Mitchell Brock and Rev. Denver Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the New Hope Christian Church in Leslie County from Friday at 6:00 P.M. to the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.
