Mrs. Tonya Spencer, age 58 of Barbourville was born in Dayton, OH on May 13, 1961 to the late Richard Carton, Sr. and Jean Renfro Carton and departed this life on November 22, 2019 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was a member of God’s Temple Church and enjoyed taking Cruises, visiting out of town family, reading, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
Her parents: Richard and Jean Carton preceded her in death.
Tonya is survived by her loving husband: Timothy Spencer; her children: Reona Collins, Daris Bledsoe, and Brandon Bledsoe; 2 brothers: Richard Carton and wife Robin, and Michael Carton and wife Renee; a sister: Deborah Hughes; 17 grandchildren: Tyeesha, Jayden, Janessa, Tiara, Amya, Nataya, Jayceon, Davion, Tamia, Destiny, Ayriona, Janaya, Aaliyah, Malachi, and others: other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Tonya Spencer will be conducted on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Dean, Jr. and Rev. Craig Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Rosenwald Cemetery with Shawn Adams, Vernon Merida, William Seawright, Brent Farmer, Jermel Carton, and Michael Johnson serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
