Obituary for Tommy Collins (1966-2021)

Tommy Collins, age 54 of Flat Lick was born in Pineville, KY on June 4, 1966 to the late Curtis Collins and Wanda Lee Brown Collins and departed this life on March 16, 2021 in the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville.  He was a member of Road Fork Holiness Church and enjoyed wood working, farming, fishing, cooking, collecting Antiques, telling stories, and time with family and friends.

In addition to his father: Curtis Collins; a brother: Jamie Collins preceded him in death.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife: Tina Collins of Flat Lick; his mother: Wanda Lee Collins of Flat Lick; 2 sons: Daniel Collins and wife Amber of Camp Lejeune, NC, and James Israel Collins of Flat Lick; 4 brothers: Rev. Gilbert Collins and wife Sherry, Curtis Collins, Jr. and wife Melinda, Darrell Collins, and Calvin Collins and wife Misty all of Flat Lick; 2 sisters: Carrie Ann Collins, and Shanna Tate and husband Ron all of Flat Lick; grandchildren: Alaina Grace Collins and Sophia Lee Collins soon to arrive; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Mr. Tommy Collins will be conducted in the Road Fork Holiness Church on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Gilbert Collins bringing the message, Rev. Aaron Collins having Obituary and Prayer, and Rev. Stoney Brown having Comments.  Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.  Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. 

Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Sunday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M., Monday from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M., and Tuesday at Road Fork Holiness Church from 11 A.M. to the Funeral Hour at 2.  Due to the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend will be required to wear face mask and practice Social Distancing.
