Mr. Thomas Franklin “Frank” Kelly, age 85 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was born on May 25, 1938 in Bimble, Kentucky and was the son of Fred B. Kelly and Nannie (Warren) Kelly. Frank loved his family and spending his time outdoors, gardening.
His parents precede him in death as well as ten siblings Ivan Glenn Kelly, Douglas Kelly, Lee Vaughn Kelly, Codell Kelly, Fred Kelly Jr., Mildred Osborne, Billie Kelly, Roberta Elmore, Jessie Alexander, Evelyn June Baker, Abbie Harvel.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Chelsea Kelly, two sons, Thomas Franklin Kelly Jr. and wife Angela of Barbourville, Brian Keith Kelly and wife Paula of Barbourville, one daughter Patricia Ann Epperson and husband Henry of Barbourville, four grandchildren Neysa Mills and husband Dalton, T.J. Kelly, Keysha Patton and husband Jerry, Bohdan Kelly, Kenny Root, two great-grandchildren Kinsley “Sunshine” Mills, Tate “Little Man” Mills. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and his neighborhood grandchildren and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Frank Kelly will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Frazier and Rev. Tim Spencer Officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery at Girdler. Pallbearers will be Jerry Patton, T.J. Kelly, Kenny Root, Travis Wilson, Hunter Wilson, James Wilson. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
