Obituary for Mr. Terry Lee (1950-2024)

Mr. Terry Lee age 74 of Independence, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, August 4, 2024 in the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was born on May 13, 1950 in Knox County, the son of John Riley Lee and Bessie Jewel (Collins) Lee. Mr. Lee had been a stone mason and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, campfires and spending time with family and friends.

      He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Jewel Lee, one brother, John Wayne Lee and one sister, Wanda Lee.

      Left behind to mourn his passing, three children, Terrie Jo Lee of Independence, Randy Lee and wife Lori of Independence and Jeremiah Lee and fiance’ Stacie Bruhn of Waseca, Minnesota, eleven grandchildren, Christian Lee and wife Dezmen, Rashell Reed and husband Jesse, Derek Gregory-Lee, Dustin Gregory, Zane Gregory, Layla Lee, Brady Lee, Mitchell Lee, Jaxson Lee, Kara Lee and Jason Lee and one great-grandchild, Rader Lee, ten siblings, Jimmy Lee of Independence, Marion Lee and wife Valerie of Ft. Wright, Kentucky, Patsy Jones of Walton, Kentucky, Jerry Lee and wife Elaine of Ft. Wright, Larry Lee and wife Cheryl of Kenton County, Carrie Walden of Florida, Ronald Lee and wife Tracy of Covington, Donald Lee of Taylor Mill, Loxley Lee of Ft. Wright and Brenda Lee of Independence. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

      Funeral services for Mr. Lee will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Sturdivant officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. He will be laid to rest in the Collins Cemetery at Trosper. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 3:00 p.m.
