Obituary for Terry Allen Miracle (1958-2021)

Mr. Terry Allen Miracle, 62, of Artemus, passed away Saturday morning, March 6, 2021 at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  He was the son of Deloris Walton Miracle Adams and the late Earl Leon Miracle born May 12, 1958 in Pineville.

Terry was a former contractor and of the Baptist faith.  He loved restoring muscle cars, but his greatest joy was in helping others.  He loved life and was a determined man.  He was most motivated to help others in his community, whether it was building a bridge or a wheelchair ramp, he would gather people together to meet whatever the need.

On June 28, 1980, he united in marriage with Barbara Ann Burke and to this union a son was born.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tamara Lynn Miracle; his grandparents, Stone and Eula Miracle and Edward and Elon Walton and his mother-in-law, Helen Burke.

Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Ann Miracle of Artemus; his mother, Deloris Adams of Somerset; a son, Jonathan Aaron Miracle of Trosper; two sisters, Beth Ann Bouge and husband, John, of Garden City, Idaho and Amy Lea vonSeebach and partner, Laurel Kimes, of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Barry Miracle of Nicholasville and Robert Earl Miracle and wife, Shelia, of Whitesburg; a treasured granddaughter, Peyton Miracle; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, March 11 at 5 P.M.  Cremation will follow the service.

Should one desire, expressions of sympathy may go to a Kentucky 529 college fund that will be established for Peyton in care of Barbara.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 3 P.M. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
