Mrs. Tammy Lynn Broyles, 59, of Keavy, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 3, 2024 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James Hale and Mary Jo Dagnan Howard born on July 6, 1965.
Tammy was a homemaker and a member of God’s Temple. She enjoyed crocheting, reading books and spending time with her animals. She especially loved spending time with her family.
On July 11, 1992, she united in marriage with Lonnie Lee Broyles.
Survivors include her loving husband, Rev. Lonnie Lee Broyles of Keavy; children, Lonnie Howard and wife, Sarah, and Cassandra Merida and husband, Tim, all of Keavy; a step-son, Chuck Broyles of Barbourville; sister, Sheryl Ownby of Jasper, TN; brothers, Jimmy Howard of Wichita, KS and Dooley Howard of Jasper, TN; cherished grandchildren, Josh Broyles, Joselynn Broyles, Paige Merida, Shyann Merida, Dylan Cook, George Trosper III, Howard Trosper, Racheal Trosper and Madison Moses; great grandchildren, Blakelynn Broyles, Audrey Broyles, Raelynn Merida, Ava Cook, Trinity Trosper, Everlee Moses and Brena Moses; her childhood best friend, Tina Wilkinson Grantham; special friends, Jennifer Steele and Jessica Clark; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, September 10 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Ray Dean and Rev. Pete Clark officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Tuesday prior to the funeral hour.
If you wish, gifts may be made in the form of contributions to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
