Mrs. Susan Faye Lawson, 70, of Hinkle, passed away Friday morning, October 4, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Lucien James and Grace Lillian Marsden Parris born on July 17, 1954 in Plymouth, NH.
Susan was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, playing games and especially enjoyed time with her family.
On May 14, 1972, she united in marriage with Tommy Lawson.
Survivors include her loving husband, Tommy Lawson; children, Charlene Brooks and husband, Donald, Daphine Karr and Tammy Lawson and husband, Wayne Napier; sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” Jordan, Teresa “Terry” Neff and Patricia “Pat” Jordan; a brother, Michael “Mike” Parris; treasured grandchildren, Paige G. Brooks and Austyn Simmons, Caseylynn Mills and husband, Jason, Brandon Napier and wife, Faith Hill, and Hunter Karr and wife, Kyra; great grandchildren, Ozzy Karr and Ivy Napier; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, October 9 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Tony Kysar and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mooneyham-Patterson-Martin Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Wednesday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
