Mrs. Stella Jane Daniels, 75, of Hinkle, passed away Sunday morning, May 29, 2022 at the home of her son. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Wagers Mills born on October 6, 1946 in Knox County.
Stella was a homemaker and a member of the Hughes Hill Holiness Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
On May 22, 1967, she united in marriage with Clem F. “Sonny” Daniels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny; two daughters, Tammy Sue Wilburn and Jenita Daniels; a sister, Della Messer and four brothers, Estill, Frank, Joe and Cleveland Mills.
Survivors include two children, Clem Franklin Daniels and wife, Kathy, of Bimble and Patricia Wilburn Mills and fiancé, Brandon Mills, of Barbourville; a sister, Gracie Eversole of Hinkle; six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew and caregiver, Dan Mills; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, June 1 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Tip Smith and Chad Watson officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Callebs Creek Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Wednesday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
