Mrs. Shelia Jones, age 57 of Bimble, was born in Pineville, KY on October 9, 1962 to the late Arnold Taylor and Gussie Gray Taylor and departed this life on October 31, 2019 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with children, being around her mom and grandchildren, Cooking, making new friends, being herself, but most of all she loved the lord.
In addition to her father, her husband: Samuel Fredrick Jones; 2 sons: Samuel Fredrick Jones, Jr. and Clarkie Mitchell Jones; her step-father: Leon Hubbard; 2 grandchildren: Cherokee Sioux Decker and Alivia Nichole Hibbard; 2 brothers: Wendell Hubbard and Randall Hubbard; 3 sisters: Patsy Gray, Lois Gray, and Juanita Baker; a son-in-law: Michael Gambrel preceded her in death.
Shelia is survived by her loving mother: Gussie Hubbard of Flat Lick; 7 children: Priscilla Smith and husband Johnny of Pineville; Peggy Jones of Bimble, Randlene Coronett of Florence, Terry Jones and wife Lisa of Bimble, Justin Jones and wife Judy of Cannon, KY, Brandon Hubbard, Joshua Hubbard, and Randall Issac Jones all of Flat Lick; 2 brothers: Ronnie Gray and Perry Junior Gray and wife Cindy all of Flat Lick; 2 sisters: Lodena Wells and Loretta Smith and husband Stanley all of Flat Lick; 23 grandchildren: Marissa Dawn Bullis, Kyla Michelle Jones, Taylor Danielle Jones, McKenna Raine Jones, Cheyenne Dakota Decker, Cody Dewayne Jones, Christopher Mitchell Jones, Travis Grubb, Katie Grubb, Bobby Grubb, Haley Grubb, Malana Grubb, Terry Jones, Haley Jones, Nevaeh Jones, Rachel Humfleet, Diamond Tineal Smith, Isabella Anita Hope Smith, Emily Grace Smith, Tristian Lee Hibbard, Kaitlynn Justine Jones, Justin Jones, Jr., and Skyler Crit Jones; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Shelia Jones will be conducted in the Bethesda Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Brandon Dunn and Rev. Roy Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery with the nephews serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Bethesda Baptist Church Monday Evening from 6 to 10 P.M. and Tuesday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 3.
