Sharon Roberta Fisher, age 64 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Lowell Allen Creighton and Geraldine Partin. She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 9, 1957. Sharon had worked as a pharmacy technician at the Knox County Hospital in previous years and was a member of the Heidrick Holiness Church.
She is preceded in death by her father Lowell Creighton, her former husband James Earl Fisher, a brother, Bobby Hubbard, her grandmother Rowena Creighton and aunt and uncle Roberta and Jack Melton.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her son, Nathan Fisher and wife Ranne of Barbourville, her daughter Francie Jean Fisher of Barbourville, her mother, Geraldine Partin of Heidrick and a step mother who raised her, Vivian Creighton of Heidrick, two brothers, Jeffrey Creighton and wife Sandra of Artemus and Rodney, five sisters, Joy Lynn Gilbert and husband James of Blackwater, Tammy, Tresa, Jackie and Lisa, a special niece, Tara Gilbert, six grandchildren, Bryanna Bays, Jathan Powell and wife Brittany, Haley Lambdin and husband Jimi, Natalie Fisher, Eathan Fisher, Chloe Fisher and fiance’ Jonathan Wells, three great grandchildren, Aiden Mosley, Jace Lambdin and Noah Lambdin. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Sharon Fisher will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Barnard officiating. Pallbearers will be, Jathan Powell, Jimi Lambdin, Jonathan Wells, Eathan Fisher, Jeffrey Creighton, John Hubbard, Chris Hubbard and Jeffrey Fisher. Honorary pallbearers will be James Gilbert, Jr. and Rodney. She will be laid to rest in the Fisher Cemetery at Heidrick. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
