Sarah Wells Craig, age 82, of Gray, Kentucky passed away on December 23, 2024. She was born September 12, 1942 in Knox Co, Kentucky to the late Willie and Violet Wells.
Sarah was preceded in death by sisters; Lois Ritter, Jan Dewees and brother Ralph Wells.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Marvin Craig and daughter Bridgett Craig Leeds (John) and sister Jewell Johnson.
Sarah was an active member of 17th Street Christian Church and a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. She taught Sunday School for 50 years and loved working with children. Sarah was employed by Knox County Board of Education for 30 years. She also loved to travel, and her and Marvin had the opportunity to visit all 50 states and several countries.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 28th with funeral service to follow at 17th Street Christian Church, with Bro. Mike Hopkins and Bro. Doug Martin officiating. Burial will follow in McHargue Cemetery.
