Roxanne Maye Schmidt Hatfield, age 64 of Barbourville was born in Clinton, Iowa on December 16, 1959 to the late Robert and Ramona Covert Schmidt and departed this life on May 14, 2024 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed Hiking, being outside, drinking coffee, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, 2 brothers: Jim Schmidt and Steve Schmidt; and a sister: Angela Dykes preceded her in death.
Roxanne is survived by her loving husband: Danny Hatfield of Barbourville; her son: Daniel Lee Hatfield of Corbin; 3 sisters: Marla Kracht and husband Arnold, Bernadette Seifer and husband Mich, and Teresa Drury all of Clinton, Iowa; 2 brothers: Tinnia Schmidt and wife Tammy of Barbourville, and John Kane of Clinton, Iowa; 4 grandchildren: Tyler Hatfield, Colby Hatfield, Amber Hatfield, and Hunter Hatfield; 5 great grandchildren: Conner Hatfield, Natalie Hatfield, Mason Hatfield, Maverick Hatfield, and Weston Blankenship; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Roxanne Hatfield will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 8:00 PM with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Friday from 6 Pm to the funeral hour at 8.
