Rosswell Lynn Rice, age 66, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Ross was born on July 24th, 1956 to Larkin and Coria Rice in Artemus, KY. He was one of 7 children, all who he loved dearly.
In 1978 Ross and Sandra Sampson wed, going on to have 3 children. Ross spent 31 years loving Sandra and faithfully caring for her in her last years. He lost his wife Sandra in 2009.
Ross found love again with Vicki Dorff-Payne when they both needed it most. She was his partner in life and they loved each other so very much.
Ross was a gentle, attentive and loving man, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. Ross’s family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he talked endlessly about. Ross was unendingly proud of Amanda Pigg, Rhiannon Lowe and Aaron Rice and always was there to love and support them.
Ross was a proud grandfather to Adama Hanne, Rhagen Rice, Hudson Rice, Andersen Pigg, Summit Rice and Ryker Rice. He adored these grandchildren more than anything.
Ross was also a passionate man and could often be found jamming to rock n roll with the speakers turned up to the max, at a rock concert or waxing his Dodge Charger until you were blinded.
Anyone who knew Ross knew that he was the most loving, selfless father and husband a family could ask for. Ross was predeceased by Coria Rice (mother) and Sandra Rice(wife).
No services are planned at this time. Family will plan a memorial at a later date.
