Ronnie Wayne Gambrel, age 53 of Flat Lick was born in Pineville, KY on January 17, 1971 to the late Otis and Maxine Hobbs Gambrel and departed this life on October 15, 2024 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, working on bicycles, and time with family and friends.
His parents: Otis and Maxine Gambrel preceded him in death.
Ronnie is survived by his loving children: Maxine Billingsley and husband Kevin of TN, Sabrina Gambrel and Bruce Marion of Flat Lick, Kylie Gambrel, Keilyn Gambrel, and Kenlee Gambrel all of Frakes, Billy Gambrel and wife Brittany of East Bernstadt, and Ronnie Gambrel, Jr. and wife Natasha of AL; 2 brothers: James Gambrel of Flat Lick, and Kenny Gambrel and wife Nancy of Barbourville; 3 sisters: Kathy Gambrel and Otis Gulley of Middlesboro, Doris Smith and Randy Salyers of Gray, and Carolee Gambrel of Flat Lick; 13 grandchildren and one on the way; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ronnie Gambrel will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Nick Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home Saturday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
