Mr. Ronnie Stewart, 64, of Barbourville, passed away Saturday morning, March 2, 2024 at his home. He was the son of the late Lonzo and Vivian Philpot Stewart born on January 4, 1960 in Pineville.
Ronnie was a former maintenance supervisor with Corbin Manor Apartments and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed sports, especially watching the University of Michigan basketball and football games, collecting guns and coins. He dearly loved spending time with family.
He united in marriage with Dawn McFadden and to this union a son was born. He later united in marriage with Stacey Jo Neal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stacey Jo Stewart; a son, Ronnie Michael Stewart and a brother, Darrell Wayne Stewart.
Survivors include a daughter, Kristen Brook Howard of Danville; a sister, Diana Stewart Woolum and husband, Don, of Barbourville; grandchildren, Persephone Carolyn Irene Howard and Penelope Katherine Marie Howard; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, March 7 at 7 P.M. with Rev. Bud Sizemore and Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Honorary bearers will be Michael Denton, Anthony Saylor and David Stewart.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday after 5 P.M. until the funeral hour.
