Mr. Rondell Mills, 65, of Barbourville, passed away Saturday morning, September 25, 2021 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was the son of Doris Jean Patterson Mills and the late Nasby Mills born on August 7, 1956 in Pineville.
Rondell was the former owner and operator of Mills Body Shop and a member of the Roadside Baptist Church. In his earlier years, he enjoyed racing cars and later in life loved to attend the races, going to car shows and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving mother, Doris Jean Mills of Barbourville; three children, Rondell Mills Jr. of Barbourville, Bridgette King and husband, Douglas, of Flat Lick and Kaitlyn Jean Hubbard and husband, Braydon, of London; two sisters, Jackie Crawford and husband, Ricky, of Girdler and Susan Gibbs and husband, Jeffrey, of Corbin; seven grandchildren, Kelli Medlin, Dakota Hembree, Mariah Mills, Dusty King, Kolton King, Brooklyn Mills and Grayson Dale Hubbard, whose arrival is expected soon; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the Barbourville Cemetery Sunday, October 3 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Rick Partin and Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday between 12 Noon and 1:30 P.M., at which time family and friends will make their way in procession to the cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
