Mr. Roger Neal Holt, 59, of Artemus, passed away Thursday morning, November 14, 2019 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was the son of the late William Henry and Hester Merida Holt born on December 30, 1959 in Pineville.
Roger was a former auto body repairman and a member of the Barbourville Church of God. He enjoyed drag racing and going to McDonald’s.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Barbara Holt.
Survivors include his loving wife, Delores Phillips Goins of Artemus; a sister, Maggie Mills and husband, Billy Ray, of Boone Heights; two brothers, Larry Holt and wife, Freda, of Romulus, MI and Ricky Holt of Artemus; several special nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, November 20 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Bobby Drew Lawson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the William H. and Hester Holt Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Wednesday prior to the funeral hour.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
