Mr. Rodger Miles Oliver, 54, of Cincinati, OH, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 11, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 18, 1970 in Hamilton, OH, the son of Lola Mae Miles Oliver and the late Raymond Donald Oliver.
Rodger received a Bachelor of Science degree at Cumberland College and worked in business administration throughout his career. He currently worked at Seasons-Kenwood-Senior Living as the dining service supervisor, where he was dearly appreciated and will be truly missed by both his co-workers and the residents. Rodger enjoyed amusement parks and previously worked at both Kings Island and Disney World. He also enjoyed visiting Kentucky, especially his Papa John Miles and Uncle Charles Miles at John’s Everready Barbershop.
Rodger kept a small, but close, group of those he loved. He was a friend, brother, son and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond D. Oliver; infant brother, Jonathan; grandparents, Lawrence and Genevieve Henderson Oliver and John and Allie Engle Miles.
He is survived by his loving mother, Lola Mae Miles Oliver; sister, Kimberly Oliver; nieces, Shana and Malia Oliver; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Following inurnment in the Hubbs Cemetery, family and friends will gather at the Flat Creek Baptist Church for a celebration of his life Sunday, June 1 at 1 P.M.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
