Mr. Robert Eugene Leger, 77, of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday evening, August 27, 2024 at his home. He was the son of the late Frank and Nannie Jenkins Leger born on October 8, 1946 in Knox County.
Robert was a former heavy equipment mechanic with Whayne Supply and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching crime shows and FOX News and driving his Dodge Charger. He also enjoyed visiting with friends, especially Rick Grant.
On January 8, 1965, he united in marriage with Barbara Campbell and to this union two children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Pauline Alford, Mae Alsip and Glenn Leger.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Leger of Gray; children, Lisa Morrow and husband, Jimmy, of Somerset and David Leger of Gray; five grandchildren, Justin Alsip and wife, Katie, Brandi Edwards, Seth, Brooklyn and Madison Leger; six great grandchildren, Aiden, Marlee, Maison, Tucker, Hadley and Boone; among other loved ones and dear friends.
At this time, no services are planned.
