Mr. Robert Bowman Brock, age 87 of Flat Lick, was born in Molus, KY on November 29, 1932 to the late Aaron Brock and Melinda Roark Brock and departed this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at his home. He was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, his wife: Litha Brock; 4 sons: Robert Brock, Jr., Billy Ray Brock, Johnnie Ray Brock, and Ronnie Lee Brock; 5 brothers: David Brock, Jack Brock, Calvin Brock, Paul Brock and Solomon Brock; and a granddaughter: Stephanie Brock preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving daughter: Genene Brock-Godfrey of Flat Lick; a son: Carl Brock of Knoxville; a brother: General Lee Brock of Morristown, TN; 11 grandchildren: Robert Michael Glasscox, Angela Glasscox, Litha Rella, Genene Nicole Garman, Brett Brock, Brian Brock, Chris Brock, Johnny Brock, Melinda Brock, Danny Brock, and Robert Brock, III; 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Robert Brock will be conducted on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the North Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
