Robert “Bob” David Elliott, age 75 of Heidrick, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was the son of the late Edward and Nettie (Lockard) Elliott, born to them on October 12, 1948 in Knox County.
Bob was a Veteran and served his country in Germany with the United States Army Security Agency, ASA. He was an ordained minister and believed in the Methodist faith. He was a member of the American Legion Post 88 in Corbin, he was Chaplain for the Knox County Veterans and attended Patriot Guard Riders events to honor fallen fellow soldiers.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his son, Chris Elliott and grandson, Atlas Elliott of Wilson, North Carolina, one brother, Bill Elliott (Leslie)of Seaman, Ohio, one uncle, Raymond Elliott of Artemus and one aunt, Betty Montgomery of Ewing, Virginia, along with many other cousins, relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Burch-Alford Cemetery in Artemus with Rev. Keith Liford officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the Knox County Kentucky American Veterans. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Family and friends will gather at the cemetery prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.
