Rita Wagers Henson, age 60 of London, was born in Manchester, KY on December 5, 1960 to the late Homer and Sophia Wagers, and departed this life on Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Baptist Health of Corbin. She was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed playing games, cleaning house, visiting, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, a daughter: Mamie Henson; and 2 brothers: Clark Wagers and Melvin wagers preceded her in death.
Rita is survived by her loving children: Terry Wayne Napier, Kimberly Napier, and Sheena Napier all of Manchester; 4 brothers: Elmer Wagers of London, Robbie Wagers and wife June and Steve Wagers and wife Jessica all of Manchester, and Lester Bailey and wife Pamela of Harlan County; 2 sisters: Melissa Mathis and husband R J and Stephanie Bailey- Fultz all of Manchester; 4 grandchildren: Austin Estep, Courtney Estep, Chandler Justice Henson, and Clarence Lee Henson, Jr. 3 great grandchildren: Kinsley Estep, Grace Estep, and Madeline Jade Henson; other relatives, and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Rita Henson will be conducted in the Granny’s Branch Pentecostal Church at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 19, 2021 with Rev. George Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Gosse Rock Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Granny’s Branch Pentecostal Church Monday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2:00. Due to the continuing Covid- 19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend all who attend will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
