Mrs. Rebecca Ann Helton, 50, of Artemus, passed away Wednesday morning, March 9, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Doris Miracle born on November 1, 1971 in Knox County.
Rebecca was a former bus driver with the Knox County Public School System and of the Baptist faith. She dearly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dog, Bella.
On June 10, 2007, she united in marriage with Anthony J. Helton.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her beloved papaw, Henry Vaughn.
Survivors include her loving husband, Tony Helton of Artemus; two sons, Chris Abner and wife, Megan, of Corbin and Chad Abner and wife, Kayla, of Bimble; two sisters, Sherry Cox and husband, Johnny, of Girdler and Veronica Mills and husband, Haskell, of Lexington; a brother, Wayne Miracle of Green Road; treasured grandchildren, Nolan Abner and Rowan Abner; several nieces, nephews and cousins; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, March 14 at 2 P.M. with Rev. William R. “Man” Cobb and Rev. Columbus Hensley officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Childers Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Monday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
