Mr. Ray Grubb age 63 of Flat Lick, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2022 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born and raised on Stinking Creek, he was the son of Owen Grubb and Gladys (Hopkins) Grubb on February 8, 1959.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Gladys Grubb.
Left behind to mourn his passing, is beloved children, Tabetha Vaughn and husband Casey of Heidrick and Roman Grubb and fiance’ Amber of Flat Lick, two sisters, Dwonna Jones and husband Rastus and Jwonna Grubb all of Greenroad, nephew Justin Sizemore and niece, Kayle Baker and his grand-dog, Cracker. He also is survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Ray enjoyed old cars, being outdoors, watching westerns, collecting rocks and spending time with his family, especially his children. Ray dearly loved his children and never missed an opportunity to tell them proud he was of them.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
He will be laid to rest in the Davis Cemetery on Acorn Fork. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
