Paul Max Gray, age 73 of Barbourville was born in Pineville, KY on May 29, 1951 to the late Samuel and Mary Smith Gray and departed this life on April 6, 2025 in the Baptist Health of Corbin Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the Drag Races with his son, watching UK Basketball and Football, watching Westerns, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, his sisters: Ethel, Elsie, Ellie, and Gracie; 8 brothers: Estell, Edward, Owen, Virgil, Letcher, Charlie, Hubert, and Johnny Smith; and a daughter-in-law: Pamela Gray preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years: Linda Gray of Barbourville; his children: Paul Gary Gray of Barbourville and Laura Baker of Corbin; a brother: Ancil Gray of Corbin; 4 grandchildren: Tiffany Gray, Orlando Paul Gray and wife Cheyenne, Madison Baker and Jacob Baker; 2 great grandchildren: Kash Gray and Kade Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Paul Gray will be conducted in the Gray Cemetery off Route 6 on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jamey Bucannon officiating. Burial will follow. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Family and friends will gather at the Gray Cemetery on Route 6 at 2:00 PM.
