Paul Edward Gambrel, Jr., age 44, husband of Wendy Renee (Gray) Gambrel of Barbourville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at his residence. He was the father of Amber Gambrel of McKinney, Texas and Emily Gambrel of Barbourville, Kentucky; the son of Paul Edward Gambrel, Sr. and Cordie (Fredrick) Gambrel both of Flatlick, Kentucky; the brother of Charlotte Schell and husband Joe of London, Kentucky. He was also blessed with one grandchild, Jaelynn Renee Gambrel of Barbourville, Kentucky.
He was an 18-year employee of Martin’s Peterbilt.
Graveside services and burial for Paul Edward Gambrel, Jr. will be conducted Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Owsley Cemetery with James Allen officiating. The family of Paul Edward Gambrel, Jr. will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Blake Lindsey, Gorman King, David Martin, Doug Cobb, Jake Bill, Jimmy Jones, and Tim Gambrel. Honorary pallbearers will be Martin’s Peterbilt, T & W Transport, and Buck Massey.
