Ms. Patricia Lynn Davis, 51, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday morning, September 1, 2021 at the U of L Health – Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was the daughter of Georgia Gambrel Abner and the late Floyd “Bill” Abner born on September 18, 1969 in Barbourville.
Patricia was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was known to have a “green thumb” tending her beautiful flowers and plans and enjoyed cooking, crafting, traveling, especially to the beach, home interior design and dearly loved spending time with her family.
On September 19, 1989, she united in marriage with the love of her life, James Sprinkles, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Albert and Bertha Sprinkles.
Survivors include her loving mother, Georgia Abner of Barbourville; beloved children, James Douglas Sprinkles and Tiffany Rapier and husband, Eric, both of Corbin and Kenny Ortega of Palm Springs, CA; a sister, Joyce Croley and husband, Asher, of Barbourville; three brothers, Ronnie Abner and wife, Amy, of Winchester, Jeffrey Abner and wife, Teresa, of Barbourville and Randy Abner and wife, Nettie, of London; treasured grandchildren, Madilyn Gray, Abigail Sprinkles, Mia Rapier, Payton Frederick, Gavin Sprinkles, Trenton Rapier and Braxton Rapier; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; two sisters at heart, Nettie Abner and Louetta Vaughn; special friends Rosemary Lynn Broughton, Phyllis Scott McAdams and Tina Newman; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A celebration of her life will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, September 5 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Ricky “Bart” Smith, Rev. William R. “Man” Cobb and Doug Hensley officiating. Following cremation her remains will be scattered at St. Augustine Beach, a place she dearly loved.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday after 11 A.M. until the service time.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
