Owen Gray, age 81 of Barbourville was born in Knox County, KY on May 23 1940 to the late Samuel and Mary Smith Gray and departed this life on February 15, 2022 at his home. He was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed Coon Hunting, Fishing, Deer Hunting, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, his wife: Sue Gray; 6 brothers: Letcher Gray, Ed Gray, Charlie Gray, Hubert Gray, Johnny Smith and Estil Gray; and 4 sisters: Elsie Slusher, Ethel Gray, Tracy Gray, and Ellie Gray preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving children: Randall Perkins of Barbourville and April Gray; 2 brothers: Ancil Gray and wife Geneva of Corbin and Paul Gray and wife Linda of Barbourville; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Owen Gray will be held in Gray Cemetery on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
