Barbourville, Ky. – Norma Jeanne Hartman, 74, passed away August 1, 2022. Norma was the daughter of Virginia Hartman born to her on October 18, 1947 in Niagara Falls, New York.
Norma was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother to her only son Michael. She was a Christian, of the Baptist Faith. Norma enjoyed cross stitching and quilting. She loved dogs, especially Golden Retrievers and Pit Bulls, and had a beloved Golden Retriever of her own named Stretch. Norma and son Michael had a special bond. She loved when he fixed breakfast for her and, in turn, he favored her homemade meatloaf and fried potatoes. A fond shared memory of theirs was when they traveled by Greyhound Bus to New York City one Summer to visit the World Trade Center. Now, as Michael mourns his mother’s passing, may he find comfort in this memory as well as many others of he and his mother. Norma’s love for Michael will endure in his heart and soul for eternity.
Norma was preceded in death by her mother Virginia Hartman. She is survived by her dear son Michael Hartman, of Barbourville, Kentucky.
