Neal Taylor, age 60 of Barbourville was born in Corbin, KY on July 25, 1964 to the late John Taylor and Betty Petrey Taylor and departed this life on September 28, 2024 in University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was of the Yaw Way faith and enjoyed going to Wal Mart, talking to people, swimming, making Indian Tribal Trinkets, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, his wife: Judy Taylor; 2 sisters: Sue Levering, and Rose Brock; and 3 brothers: David Taylor, Robert Taylor, and James Taylor preceded him in death.
Neal is survived by his loving children: Judy Taylor and Scott Taylor of Barbourville; a brother: John Elmer Taylor of Huntington, WV; a sister: Brenda Webb of Corbin; 3 grandchildren: Jasmine Southerland, Jacob Southerland, and Jordan Southerland; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to the funeral hour at 2.
