Nancy Ellen Brown age 61 of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home. She was the daughter of Willie Cecil Brown and Viola (Grubb) Brown born to them on September 4, 1959 in Pineville, KY. Nancy believed in the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She loved to travel and take vacations and her favorite place to go was LasVegas.
She is preceded in death by her father Willie Cecil Brown and one sister, Bonnie Janette Brown.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her husband Randall Wagers, her mother Viola Brown both of Corbin, four brothers, Bill Brown and George Brown both of Michigan, Charlie Brown of Florida and James Gabriel Brown of Corbin, two sisters, Brenda Bryant of Corbin and Edna Toronto of North Carolina, two step-daughters, Lindsey Brook Wagers and Mindy Lynn Wagers. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Nancy Ellen Brown will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the Burch-Alford Cemetery at Artemus. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
Face coverings will be required as well as social distancing guidelines of six feet apart will need to be followed during all our services. This is for the safety of our families, visitors’ and staff.
