Nancy Elaine Cooper age 45 of Greenroad, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, July 29, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of Chris Hensley and the daughter of Donald Cooper and Linda Glisson born to them on March 6, 1979 in Paris, Tennessee.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father-in-law Billy Ray Hensley, one sister, Jennifer Hensley, a nephew, Brian Marion,her grandmother, Emma Hutson, two aunts, Melissa Lowe and Nancy Melton and an uncle, Joe Hutson.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her husband Chris Hensley of Greenroad, her mother Linda Glisson of Paris, Tennessee, her father, Donald Cooper of Denver, Colorado, two sons, Matthew Hensley and wife Kamille of Shepherdsville, Kentucky and Austin Cooper of Corbin, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Gabriel Cooper, Jentzen Cooper, Grayson Hensley and Hudson Hensley, one sister, Carolyn Lynn Mead of Paris, Tennessee and her mother-in-law, Rosa Hensley of Greenroad. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
Nancy was a member of Greenroad Baptist Church and she had been a bus driver for KCEOC. She loved being with her grandchildren and all her loved ones as well as spending time with her niece Avery and nephew Ayden. She also liked hiking, fishing, gardening, cooking and taking her dog “ding ding” to the park.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held at the Greenroad Baptist Church on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mickie Smith officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
