Michael Jason Jones, age 41 of Gray was born in Corbin, KY on March 21, 1983 to Michael Wayne and Linda Faye Jackson Jones and departed this life on January 21, 2025 at his home. He was a member of Amazing Grace Holiness Tabernacle and enjoyed going to Church, family Cookouts, fishing, and time with family and friends.
His grandparents: George and Goldy Jones; step grandmother: Rosa Lee Jones; and a brother: Keith Cox preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving parents: Michael Wayne Jones and wife Tammy of Lawrenceburg, and Linda Faye Lowe of Gray; a brother: Michael Wayne Jone, II of Gray; 2 stepbrothers: Anthony Cook of Winchester, KY, Joshua Cook of Lawrenceburg, KY; a special Cousin Devin Jones who was a good friend and brother; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Jason Jones will be conducted in the Amazing Grace Holiness Tabernacle on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery with Devin Jones, John Jones, Jacob Cox, James Brock, Anthony Cook, Joshua Cook, Keagan Swafford, and Gary Fuson serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Amazing Grace Holiness Tabernacle on Friday from 11:00 AM to the funeral hour at 1.
