Mr. Michael Ellis Cobb, 62, of Woollum, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 26, 2024 at his home. He was the son of the late Ellis and Mary Lou LaVeck Cobb born May 12, 1962 in Cincinnati, OH.
Michael was a retired baker from Kern’s Bakery and believed in the Baptist faith. He was a true outdoors man who appreciated nature and enjoyed taking walks through the hills surrounding his home. He found delight in caring for horses and going horseback riding. He was also a classic and muscle car enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ricky Aaron Cobb.
Survivors include his loving son, David Michael Cobb and wife, Staci, of Laveland, OH; sister, Karen Miller and husband, Bill, of Aurora, IN; brother, Randall William Cobb of Cincinnati; cherished grandchildren, Sophia Cobb, Carter Cobb and Garrison Cobb; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, December 31 at 1 P.M. with Rev. William “Mann” Cobb officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Cobb Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be his family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
