Barbourville, Ky. – Our beloved Husband and Father, Michael Andrew McFadden, 58, was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 24, 2023. Michael was the ‘Knight in Shining Armor’ that rescued the love of his life, Theresa. They were brought to one another by a prayer that the Lord answered and became one on July 5, 1991. Blessings of their union are their son Michael Andrew McFadden II and his best friend for life Olivia, Hannah Elizabeth McFadden, born on Father’s Day, who joined the Angels on June 27, 2021…She was indeed awaiting Daddy’s arrival, and precious Sarah Catherine McFadden and soon to be husband and personal chef…Jakob Anderson. Michael “TravelinShoes” McFadden was the best of all of us. Selfless, loved his family to the point of self-sacrifice. If you met him once, he called you friend. Michael was tender hearted and cared about everyone and their needs. His smiling eyes revealed his pure heart. He was the go-to for advice on all the family pets, automobiles and music history and so much more. From his childhood to his last days, his favorite flavor in life was cinnamon. Next time you sprinkle a bit of cinnamon, please think of our precious Michael with fondness. He’s now waiting for you all too come home and join him in his heavenly home. He is preceded in death by his daughter Hannie, his parents Jim and Helen McFadden and his brother Matthew Steele McFadden. God is still on the Throne and Jesus is our Savior…
