Mrs. Mavis Lutheen Miller, 82 of Fairdale, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Pineville on May 23, 1939 to the late William Benjamin and Nora Rose Miller.
Mavis was part of the family of God. She loved Jesus and her church family at Louisville Baptist Temple. Mavis was an amazing woman and loved her family very much.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jim Miller, William T. Engle and Raymond Miller; an infant son, Jimmy Miller and eleven siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Reta McKeehan, Angaline Meyers (Ricky Lee) and Una Jean Gray; four grandchildren, Jamie Pedicone(Chris), Rodney Gray, Jessica Edelmayer (Justin) and Jacob Meyers(Kelsee); ten great grandchildren, step children, step grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16 from 2pm-8pm at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Rd. Fairdale, KY 40118 with a funeral service Wednesday, November 17 at 11am at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be Thursday, November 18 at 1pm in Barbourville at the Samuel Miller Cemetery.
Local arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
